  BioXFEL, in collaboration with SLAC at Stanford University, has been instrumental in the continuation of my studies towards my doctorate. With their support I was able to relocate to Stanford after the destruction of Hurricane Maria and advance my research project. During this year I was also able to participate in their protein workshop and the BioXFEL International Conference in New Orleans. I will always be very grateful for the academic and professional growth I achieved through this graduate student internship.
