  The BioXFEL internship was a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in an exciting field of research which I had not previously been exposed to. As an undergraduate student aiming to pursue graduate programs, this internship provided a unique complementary experience to my own undergraduate research experiences and broadened my awareness of the various academic fields being studied throughout the scientific community. Additionally, the opportunity to network with and work alongside peers and professionals with many backgrounds and interests was invaluable in making my education experience well-rounded.
